I am interested in people; how we relate to ourselves, to one another, to our surroundings, and how we work to make sense of this ride called life. I am a husband, dog owner, friend, student, teacher, photographer, writer, art lover, tourist, and a fan of good breakfasts.

On Photography:
I continue my interest in exploring the relationships people have with one another and their surroundings in my photographic work. I use primarily black & white film. It looks great and helps me focus on those connections and relationships. Also, I rarely use a flash, it is hard for people to be relaxed with a flash gun going off every few moments. I studied photojournalism at the University of Minnesota and currently chase photographs in Minneapolis.

I am available to photograph corporate or private events, weddings, candid portraits, or other projects. I will photograph in color if you prefer. Please contact me for more information.
