The New York Times published an article today about the results of the Pew Religious Landscape Survey. The article points to the growing group of religiously un-affiliated people in the US and has some interesting quotes from religion scholar Stephen Prothero.

The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life has put together a very nice site with good web based tools on the Religious Landscape Survey. I haven't been able to look over the full report yet but it looks like it will be very interesting.

After more than 6 years on staff at Spirit Garage, tomorrow will be my last day there as a staff member. Starting in about a week I will be moving to Luther Seminary to be the Instructional Designer for the online distributed learning program there. My role will be to help professors adapt their courses to teaching and learning in an online environment. I'm very excited to be going there and the projects should be very interesting.

I'm also sad to be leaving Spirit Garage, a place that has been so much a part of my life over the last 6 years. I'll still be a part of the community as a member but definitely there in a different role. If you are available, come to my farewell celebration Sunday Feb. 24 from Noon-3 PM in the 3rd floor clubhouse of Brit's Pub, downtown Minneapolis.

If you are ever around Luther Seminary, come stop by my office in the basement of Gullixson hall.
